A Level subject - Students follow a vocational course leading to an Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education. This course which is popular with students deals with the acquisition and application of skills within the business environment.

BUSINESS & COMMUNCIATIONS

GCSE subject - two papers are set - Theory and Practical, the latter carried out entirely on computer. Pupils are examined on Computer Systems - input and output devices, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, The Workplace Environment, Human Resources and Recruitment, Communications, Finance and Business Structure, Design and Text Processing.

ICT IN JUNIOR SCHOOL

All Junior school classes are allocated time in the computer suites. They learn the building blocks of software applications.

ICT IN OTHER ALLOCATED TIME

All students are allowed access to the computer facilities for further and private study, both during school, at lunch and after school.
