| The aims of the school's programme of physical education and sport are: |
- To encourage and innovate all pupils to participate in physical activity and gain enjoyment from it through gymnastics, dance, swimming, games and athletics through timetabled lessons and extra-curricular activities.
- To contribute to the physical development and fitness of each pupil by promoting the acquisition of skills and level of competence in a range of activities and by encouraging pupils with particular aptitude to develop their skills to a high level.

Physical Education is an important aspect of the school's curriculum and thirty-two teacher hours are currently timetabled per week. The school's facilities include a gymnasium, an assembly hall/gymnasium, a grass football pitch and athletics track.
