An orderly school is a pre-requisite for efficiency in all its activities and the mutual benefit of all its users.
All pupils must conform to school rules.
Each member of the school staff is part of the discipline situation in school with their own authority, but the ultimate authority is in the hands of the Headmaster.
All members of the school staff must be treated with courtesy and respect.
Disorderly conduct on the part of pupils coming or going from school by bus or in the streets is the responsibility of parents and may be investigated by the relevant authorities. In any enquiry the school will assist the relevant authorities.
Litter must not be deposited in the school or its grounds, use must be made of the litter bins provided.
Where wilful damage to the school (public) property is involved the school reserves the right to inform the police.
Pupils are not allowed to go into town or leave school before the regular time without a permanent or temporary pass issued by the Headmaster. Permanent passes are given to those who go home for lunch. Temporary passes will only be issued for a substantial reason (i.e. for something which could not be done outside school hours) and at the written request of a parent or guardian. |
