Northern Ireland regional winners of ‘Express Yourself.’ At the London final Ballycastle High School were placed in the top four teams, and were highly commended for both their scientific knowledge and communication skills. |

Ballycastle High School won the grand prize at the ‘Northern Ireland Young Scientist’ competition and were invited to represent Northern Ireland at the British Association Science Fair. A second Ballycastle team came runners up in their age category. They also won the industrial award for ‘best laboratory practice’. |

Winners of the Northern Ireland heat of ‘Express Yourself.’ As winners of the national final held in the Royal Institute in London Ballycastle High School were awarded the title of,
‘Top Young Science Communicators in the United Kingdom.’
In September 2005 the team returned to London where they presented the Royal Institute Junior Lecture in the Faraday Lecture Theatre. |
