Car Design
Evaluation
Our proposed solution for our F1 car was to:-
Be designed using Solidworks software.
Be finished using a limited amount of hand finishing.
Be made from a single balsa blank.
Be modelled in 3D and machined on a CNC router.
Be complete with a high quality finish.
Fit the dimensions as outlined in the rules and regulations.
Be decorated with the appropriate colour scheme
Our evaluation for our F1 car is that it:-
Was designed using Solidworks software.
Was finished using a limited amount of hand finishing- solely sanded with various grades of sandpaper.
Was made from a single balsa blank.
Was modelled in 3D and machined on a CNC router.
Is complete with a high quality finish- primed numerous times then finished with 3 coats of spray paint.
Fits the dimensions as outlined in the rules and regulations.
Is decorated with the appropriate colour scheme.
