 PIRCH project

The PIRCH project stands for Partnership, Inclusion, Reconciliation, Citizenship and History and is yet another positive opportunity for Ballycastle High School to work collaboratively with CPC.

As strand 1 of the PIRCH project 8 pupils will work as an INCLUSION group alongside pupils from CPC. Pupils will have the opportunity to work on 3/ 4 projects throughout the year exploring three areas of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. The two groups of young people from the different schools will be brought together on a fortnightly basis to engage with issues of common interest in a shared education setting

For strand 2 of the PIRCH Project up to 120 pupils from Ballycastle High school and CPC will have the opportunity to explore the theme of Reconciliation through 3 subject areas in the NI Curriculum.

The PIRCH project is an exciting opportunity for pupils to build relationships and acquire new skills.

The INCLUSION group recently enjoyed a team building day with Ardclinis Outdoor Activity Centre, with their counterparts from CPC.

The group faced many challenges and depended on each other to complete all the activities! A great day was had by all.
