The Belfast Telegraph 31st March 2014 featured post primary school results at GCSE level. The article highlighted the fact that Ballycastle High School was in the top five non-selective Controlled Sector schools in Northern Ireland,  in terms of success when measured against the benchmark of 5 GCSEs at grades c or above including English and Mathematics.
